Do I need riding experience?

No. The horses are calm and well trained, the pace is set by your group, and local huasos guide you all the way. Everyone rides with a helmet.

Is there a weight or age limit?

Riders must be 8 or older and weigh up to 100 kg.

What time do we leave and get back?

Pickup is at 10:00 AM at your hotel or Airbnb in Santiago Centro, Providencia, Las Condes or Vitacura, and we’re back around 6:00 PM.

What do we eat and drink?

A Chilean BBQ by the river, with wine and pisco sour for adults, juices and water. There’s a vegetarian option with advance notice.

What should I wear?

Jeans or long trousers, closed shoes or sneakers, a cap and sunscreen.

What if it rains?

The tour runs all year, even with snow. If it rains, you choose: a new date or a full refund.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel up to 48 hours before your tour and it’s free. Later than that the day isn’t refundable, but tell us and we’ll try to move you to another date. If weather, sea or road conditions stop the tour, you choose: a new date or a full refund.
